The P1 GTR Borrows Livery From McLaren F1 Car
oi-Abijith Vilangil
Celebrating the second half of 2016 F1 season, McLaren has come up with a P1 GTR and MP4/31 in matching colours.
The two machines are now wearing matching liveries, featuring similar stripes in the exact same locations as they are on the F1 car.
Significant differences are highlighted by the orange side mirrors or the large stripes, situated on the side profile instead of the shoulder line, similar to the MP4/31 from McLaren-Honda.
The Honda-powered MP4/31 can be caught in action this week at Spa, where McLaren will compete against Toro Rosso and Force India.
Unfortunately, Honda's MP4/31 still remains slower than Mercedes while the track mostly rewards the fastest cars on the grid.
