An Italian Supercar Just Got More Power And A Wind-Cheating Body Kit
“We increased our resources to bring this project to life and the inspiration came directly from the project of the Hypercar Millecavalli which is now facing the advanced stage of development."
The
Italian
automaker
Mazzanti
has
introduced
a
new
version
of
the
Evantra,
currently,
it's
only
production
model.
Dubbed
the
Evantra
771,
which
sits
in
between
the
base
model
and
top
of
the
line,
1,000-horsepower
Millecavalli
hypercar.
As the name suggests, the Mazzanti Evantra 771 delivers 771bhp from its tuned naturally aspirated 7.0-litre V8 engine. The motor is mated to a 6-speed sequential transmission with paddle shifters.
The automaker hasn't revealed anything about how it managed to tweak the V8 motor to get this extra 20bhp or what effect the extra power has on performance.
Beyond the bump in the powerband, the engineers at Mazzanti have increased the aerodynamics of the Evantra 771. Now it gets a new front splitter, a redesigned race-inspired scoop on the roof and sleeker side mirror caps.
The interior of the Evantra 771 has also been tweaked to make it more similar to the Millecavalli. The car now has new digital screens for the main instrument cluster and infotainment system. These allows the owner to customize the interior.
The Italian firm is also launching the Evantra 771 package in spring 2017 and can be installed to existing Evantra base variant.
Luca Mazzanti, founder of the company said, "The new pack 771 brings Evantra one step ahead. We increased our resources to bring this project to life and the inspiration came directly from the project of the Hypercar Evantra Millecavalli which is now facing the advanced stage of development."
