Maruti Suzuki has managed to sell 9,554 units of the Vitara Brezza during August. The compact SUV has now been declared top selling Utility Vehicle (UV) for August 2016. Vitara Brezza outperformed its competition by a clear margin.
Previously, Hyundai Creta and Toyota's Innova Crysta have been dominating the UV segment. In August, Hyundai sold 8,450 units of Creta, while Toyota managed to deliver 8,229 units of their Innova Crysta. Maruti Suzuki has another winning product on their hands with the Vitara Brezza.
Fourth best-selling Utility Vehicle in India during August was Ford's EcoSport. They managed to deliver 5,248 units of the EcoSport in August 2016. All these four models have been in the mix since they were launched in the Indian market.
Vitara Brezza is manufactured by India's most trusted automobile brand, Maruti Suzuki. The automobile manufacturer knows exactly what Indian customers need from their products. It rarely occurs that Maruti Suzuki's models have failed in terms of sales in the Indian market.
Currently, Maruti Suzuki offers its Vitara Brezza only with a diesel engine. This compact SUV commands a waiting period of over six months. Dealerships have witnessed overwhelming bookings since the launch of Vitara Brezza and sales are only going to further improve.
