Maruti Swift base variants: LXi (Petrol) and LDi (Diesel) are now available in a new limited DLX edition. Prices for the Swift DLX petrol start at Rs. 4.54 lakh, while the diesel starts at Rs. 5.95 lakh.
The Swift DLX edition is offered with a Sony FM music system with Bluetooth, all four power windows, central locking, multi-information display (presents the driver with average mileage figures), body coloured wing mirrors and door handles, USB and front door speakers, blacked out B-pillar, and fog lamps.
Mechanically, the Swift DLX will be powered by the standard 1.2-litre K-series petrol engine (83bhp), and 1.3-litre DDiS diesel engine (74bhp).
On the sales front, there has been a massive decline in sales. The Maruti Swift is reaching the end of its lifespan and is due for a refresh. The next generation Swift is expected to hit the Indian market by 2017.
