Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza — 50,000 Units Sold In Seven Months
Maruti Suzuki's sub-four metre SUV has been a great success in the Indian market. The compact SUV took the SUV segment in India by storm.
After just seven months of launch, the Vitara Brezza has crossed 50,000 mark in the country. Even with the waiting period of up to nine months for certain variants, customers are rushing to dealerships to own this SUV.
Maruti Suzuki is likely to be sold close to 11,000 to 12,000 units in the month of September alone, taking the total tally to over 50,000 in India.
The latest SUV from India's leading carmaker has been a huge hit. Vita Brezza ticked all the boxes in terms of cabin space, equipment, safety and fuel economy.
Powered by the 1,3-litre diesel engine, which is also found on the Ertiga, Ciaz and S-cross, produce 90.2bhp. The SUV can sprint from 0-100 in 13.3 seconds.
The main highlight of this SUV is its practicality with a spacious cabin, advanced infotainment system and an array of first in segment features.
After its launch, the Vitara Breza was a tough competition to well-established brands such as Ford Ecoboost, Renault Duster and Hyundai Creta.
After the rise in sales of the Vitara Brezza, Maruti Suzuki has perfectly seized the opportunity by hiking the price of the model by Rs 20,000 in August. Maruti Suzuki has also boosted the production of the SUV to minimise long waiting period.
