Indian leading car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki India Limited has achieved a leap in growth in their spare parts business, compared to that of the new car sales.
Maruti Suzuki's one tenth of revenue came from selling spares and accessories amounting Rs 5,571 crore last year, while the total revenue of the company stood at Rs 58,208 crore. Which suggest that company's ten percent revenue comes from spares, parts, and accessories.
Customers have always been satisfied by Maruti Suzuki's spare parts availability due to its genuineness and affordable price. Awareness campaigns conducted by Maruti Suzuki on the availability of spare parts also played its part.
There are total 480 spare parts outlets across the country that supply spares to Maruti Suzuki workshops, service centres and also local garages. The spare parts include coolant, brake pads, bumper and much more. Totally there are 1,800 accessories being sold through sales networks.
