Maruti Suzuki Ignis Spied — Launch Imminent?
The Maruti Suzuki Ignis along with the Baleno RS were two concept cars that Maruti introduced to India at the 2016 Auto Expo.
Out of the two concept cars, it was the Ignis that grabbed eyeballs with its boxy design and its high ground clearance as well as its crossover ambitions.
The Ignis has now been spotted testing, trying to hide its features under substantial amounts of camouflage as Maruti puts it through its paces by testing it in Delhi.
From what we can make of the images, the production ready Ignis features projector headlamps up front with LED daytime running lights , something that was seen on the concept.
Another feature that distinguishes this test mule as an Ignis is the rear window which sits at a steep angle from the rest of the rear end of the car.
Also quite evident are the high ground clearance and the roof rails on top of the car.
The Maruti Suzuki Ignis is expected to hit the roads just in time for the festive season of Dusshera and Diwali.
