Maruti Ignis Spied, Seen Testing On Roads
The recently showcased Maruti Suzuki Ignis at the recently held 2016 Auto Expo was spied testing on Indian roads.

Maruti Suzuki showcased the Ignis as a concept and seemed as a very promising product from the Auto Expo. The SUV-inspired looking car was initially showcased at the 2015 Tokyo Auto Show.
Maruti Suzuki Ignis At Auto Expo 2016
The Ignis is a sub-compact crossover EUV based on the i-M4 concept which will be officially launched in Japan by the end of February, and could be launched in India during this year's festival season.
The company is looking to feature the Ignis as a car for the urban roads, and can easily crossover to outdoor activities. The car has a tall-boy design to give better visibility from high eye-point, and high ground clearance.
As of now, the car is being launched in Japan and comes with specs of 1.2litre DUALJET engine, installed with SHVS (Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki), a mild hybrid system.
There will be a diesel engine which will be powered by 1.3litre and claiming a mileage of 25.2km/l.
Ignis could be offered a 4WD (Four Wheel Drive), which will include Hill Descent Control and Grip Control, in the Indian market. And of course, airbags and ABS with EBD will come as standard across variants.
The car will have the touchscreen navigation system that will come with inbuilt memory and infotainment system features like the Apple CarPlay and features to manage your phone.
The car will be positioned along with Mahindra KUV100 and Hyundai Grand i10 and will be priced between Rs. 4-6 lakhs. The car will be sold via Maruti Suzuki's NEXA showrooms.
