Japanese automaker Suzuki introduced iUNIQUE limited edition in Italy with a price tag of €16,900 (INR 12.25 lakh). The vehicle will be available for purchase via company's online shop.
Suzuki is only producing 100 examples of iUNIQUE and it will be delivered to the customers before the official launch of the standard Ignis in January 2017.
The model is more stylish than the standard version. The iUNIQUE features unique exterior and interior and customers can order it in dual-tone colour schemes: Bianco ARTICO BiColor and Azzurro MALDIVE BiColor.
The limited model resembles the same styling cues of the Suzuki Ignis Trail Concept, showcased at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show.
The iUNIQUE features LED headlights, black front grille embellished with orange, fog lamps with orange frames, a black roof with silver roof rails and 16-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, the door handles and centre tunnel are covered in orange, and the HVAC vents also have the orange frame.
Ignis iUNIQUE comes with automatic headlights, cruise control, heated front seats, automatic climate control, touchscreen navigation system with 3D maps, rear view camera and electrically adjustable door mirrors.
Powering the vehicle is a 1.2-litre DUALJET engine with SHVS. It produces 89bhp of peak power at 6,000rpm and 120Nm of torque at 4,400rpm.
The petrol unit is coupled with an electric motor which runs on a 12-volt lithium-ion battery. This unit produces 3.08bhp and 50Nm of torque.
The powerplant is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and the power is sent via ALLGRIP four-wheel drive system.
