Now Pay Up To Rs. 34,494 More For Maruti Suzuki Vehicles
Maruti Suzuki has hiked the price of most of their models offered in the Indian market. Two models from the portfolio have been omitted from the price hike and maintains the previous pricing. Hybrid Ciaz SHVS and Hybrid Ertiga SHVS pricing remains unaffected.
Hybrid vehicles and Smart Hybrid vehicles are exempted from the Infrastructure Cess. The Indian Government recently announced its 2016-2017 Union Budget. Owing to the Infrastructure Cess several manufacturers are passing the added tax on to their customers.
The ex-showroom price of several Maruti Suzuki models will witness a considerable increase. Vehicles would experience a hike ranging from Rs. 1,441 to Rs. 34,494 across their portfolio. Smaller vehicles will witness minimum price hike while the bigger models will experience the maximum increase in pricing.
Currently, Maruti Suzuki has a huge product portfolio in the country. Several new and interesting products will be launching in the Indian market soon from Maruti Suzuki. The Vitara Brezza and Ignis models are soon coming to Indian market within 2016.
Several other manufacturer's have also announced price hikes in the Indian market, post the announcement of the 2016-2017 Union budget. Mercedes-Benz, Hyundai, Nissan, and Honda all have increased their ex-showroom pricing owing to the Infrastructure Cess.
