The 2017 next generation Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire has been spied testing in India for the very first time. The prototype model was spotted with heavily camouflage livery.
Taking a closer look at the photos suggest that the front fascia of the car is borrowed from the next-gen Maruti Swift which is expected to be showcased at 2017 Geneva Motor Show.
The front end of the test car features large front grille, projector headlights with daytime running lights, and circular fog lights.
The interior of the 2017 Dzire will be similar to the new Swift's interior design. But Maruti Suzuki may use the dual-tone black and beige theme on the Dzire.
The 2017 Maruti Dzire will come with features such as - dual airbags, EBD, ABS, automatic climate control, alloy wheels, keyless entry with push-button start, a touchscreen SmartPlay infotainment system with reverse camera and navigation and steering mounted controls.
Both the hatchback and compact sedan variant of Swift is expected to be based on the same lightweight platform which underpins the Maruti Baleno. The new Dzire is likely to get the same 1.2-litre K-Series petrol and 1.3-litre DDiS diesel engine.
It will be interesting to see that if Maruti Suzuki brings the SHVS mild hybrid technology with these two new models. The 2017 Dzire will hit Indian market after the launch of the new Swift.
