Spy Pics: Maruti Suzuki Baleno RS Spotted Testing
The much anticipated Maruti Suzuki Baleno RS has been spied testing again, ahead of its expected launch during the festive season.
The Baleno RS made its debut as a concept car at the 2016 Auto Expo which was held in Greater Noida in February.
The biggest change in the Baleno RS is under the hood of the car where a much smaller 1.0-litre engine now resides. However, the engine is force-fed air by a turbocharger which allows the Baleno RS to produce 110bhp and 170Nm of torque. The engine will be mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
The spied test mules don't have any camo on covering up the design as Baleno RS hasn't changed much compared to the regular Baleno. The only major changes are slightly redesigned headlamps, a redesigned front bumper, the alloy wheels and the RS badge that will make its way on to the back.
The interiors have been tweaked as well with a fully black theme, sports seats, flat-bottomed steering wheel and a touchscreen infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay.
