India's leading car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) have sold one lakh units of its premium hatchback, the Baleno in the country.
The Baleno, which was launched back in October 2015 has been one of the top selling models for Maruti Suzuki and has been dominating the segment.
Apart from the domestic sales, 33,800 Baleno's have been exported across the globe, including Japan and Europe.
Besides the one lakh units sold, many customers have placed orders for the premium hatch and deliveries will be carried out in next few months.

Safety features like dual airbags and ABS with EBD are standard in Baleno - another first for this segment. It is truly a symbol of Make-in-India."
