Maruti Launches Ciaz ZXi+ Automatic At Rs. 10.19 Lakh

Maruti Suzuki launched the automatic variant of the Ciaz ZXi+ at the price tag of 10.19 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi). The Ciaz rivals Honda City, Skoda Rapid, Volkswagen Vento and the Hyundai Verna.

The automatic gearbox is the same as the four-speed unit which was earlier available only on the VXi+ and ZXi variants. The engine remains the same, which is powered by 1.4litre four-cylinder motor that pushes out 91bhp and 130Nm of torque.

The wheelbase of the Ciaz is longer when compared to its rivals and boasts of bigger cabin space. The ZXi+ comes with lots of premium features, which the customers had missed out until now.

Maruti has been trying to dominate the mid-size sedans, however, Honda City has been ruling the roost. The company has been aggressively marketing the Ciaz in the executive segment and has been challenged by its rivals.

The different variants on offer for the Ciaz are - VXi, VXi (O), VXi+, ZXi, VXi+ AT, ZXI+, ZXi+ RS, ZXi AT, ZXI+ AT, VDi SHVS, VDi (O) SHVS, VDi+ SHVS, ZDi SHVS, ZDi+ SHVS, ZDi+ SHVS RS.

In addition to the roomier cabin, the car features a rear vent AC, extra shade on the windscreen, and reading lamps among others. The leather seats are quite well defined and has the feel of luxury.
