Maruti Ignis & Ciaz Facelift To Be Sold Via NEXA Showrooms
Maruti Suzuki will be showcasing its all-new Ignis mini SUV at the 2016 Auto Expo. The Japanese automobile giant will also be introducing its Ciaz facelift at the motor show in Delhi. Several other models will also be showcased at the Auto Expo by Maruti Suzuki.
Both, the Ignis and Ciaz facelift will be sold through Maruti Suzuki's premium outlets. The NEXA dealership previously did not offer the Ciaz sedan through its outlets and was sold through the regular showrooms. It will be interesting to see how customers react to this development.
The Ignis mini SUV made its debut at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show. In India, the Maruti Suzuki Ignis will compete against Mahindra's KUV1OO model. An all-new platform was used to develop the Ignis model by Suzuki engineers.
Maruti Suzuki will be providing its Ignis mini SUV with a petrol as well as diesel engine option. The Ignis engine will be mated to an optional 5-speed manual transmission or an AMT gearbox. More details on the Ignis will be revealed at the 2016 Auto Expo.
Recently, Maruti Suzuki confirmed to us that the Vitara Breeza will also make its Indian debut at 2016 Auto Expo. Surprisingly, the all-new compact SUV is most likely not to be sold through the NEXA outlets spread across the country. Testing of the Vitara Breeza is ongoing on Indian roads and is expected to launch in the country soon.
