Maruti Suzuki will be introducing a facelifted Ciaz sometime during March 2017. The updated Ciaz sedan will be sold exclusively through NEXA dealerships. Currently, NEXA outlets only offer Baleno premium hatchback and S-Cross premium crossover models.
At this point, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz is being sold through regular dealerships. Updated Ciaz will bear a slightly more premium price tag, thus, it will be sold through NEXA dealerships. Along with the updated Ciaz, Maruti Suzuki will introduce more premium models in India.
Only design elements on the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz will receive an update. The premium sedan is likely to adopt no mechanical changes. Maruti Suzuki Ciaz will be offered with a petrol, diesel, and SHVS (Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki) engine options.
Maruti Suzuki has planned an interesting line-up of vehicle launches in India for 2017. The updated Ciaz, Ignis mini-SUV, and Baleno RS performance hatchback will be launched. By 2017-end Maruti Suzuki also plans on introducing the updated S-Cross model in India.
