stolen
from
the
parking
lot
of
JW
Marriott
Hotel
on
Senapati
Bapat
Road,
Pune,
on
July
29.
The
Chaturshrungi
police
have
registered
a
case
of
theft
against
the
identified
person
and
case
against
the
hotel
staff
for
breach
of
trust.
Chaturshrungi police station, Sub-Inspector informed the media that the Mercedes-Benz ML 350 priced at Rs 85 lakh belongs to an architect from Baner, Pune.
The couple had gone to the five-star hotel for dinner and had given the car keys for valet parking. After dinner, the couple went to the parking lot and got a shock of their lives. On further investigation they found out that the car keys were missing from the security shelf.
The CCTV footage showed an unidentified person, expected to be between 25 and 30 years of age, well built, of fair complexion and 5'10" in height enter the parking lot.
The suspect got access to the security shelf where the car keys are usually kept, and picked up a key. He then went searching through the parking area and found the Mercedes-Benz, which he unlocked and drove away.
