Mahindra's flagship SUV, the XUV500 is celebrating its 5th anniversary. To commemorate this occasion Mahindra is offering attractive benefits and discounts on the XUV500.
The anniversary of the XUV500 also coincides with the festive season and dealers are offering discounts and benefits worth Rs 22,000 to Rs 66,000. So, if car buyers planning to purchase the XUV500, it's the right time.
The XUV500 is also offered with roadside assistance package, extended warranty, insurance benefits and optional accessories.
In its five years of sales, Mahindra has sold over 1.5 lakh units of XUV500 in the country. It was launched in September 2011 and days after launch, due to overwhelming response Mahindra had to close the bookings for the SUV.
The mid-size seven-seater SUV with a striking Cheetah inspired exterior design, spacious and comfortable interior, loaded with features and priced under Rs 18 lakh was a huge success in India.
The XUV500 is powered by 2.2-litre mHawk turbocharged diesel engine and a new 1.99-litre unit is also available in Delhi-NCR. The diesel unit produces 140bhp and 330Nm of torque.
The engine is mated to six-speed manual or automatic transmission. The all-wheel-drive system is available as an option in the top of the line W8 and W10 grade.
