Fancy A Custom Built Mahindra Thar? How About The Daybreak Edition?
Off-roaders have evolved in the recent past and thanks to carmakers such as Mahindra, people can own custom built vehicles. One such vehicle is Mahindra Thar Daybreak Edition, which was showcased at the Auto Expo.
Now, one can own a Thar, built to look exactly like the Daybreak Edition, thanks to Mahindra's Customisation department. So let's take a look at what it takes to own such a vehicle.
For starters, the customisation alone costs you 9.6 lakh. Then you need a donor vehicle, used or new to the job done. And if you are opting for a hard-top, you will be spending around Rs. 20 lakh for the final product, which will be delivered to you in two months.
Here's what you get though for that kind of money: off-road bumpers, wider bonnet, projector headlamps, auxillary lights, wider bonnet, modified doors, 37-inch tyres, lifted suspension, winch, and a snorkel.
The interior also gets some goodies like Sparco bucket seats, waterproof speakers, and dual tone finish to match the exterior.
The engine though, remains unchanged - a 2.5-litre, turbocharged CRDe engine that produces 105bhp and 247Nm of peak torque. So if you seem interested, all you have to do is get in touch with the Mahindra Customisation department.
