Mahindra Launches Intelli-Hybrid Technology For The Scorpio In Delhi

Now, the automobile manufacturer has launched the Intelli-Hybrid technology for the Scorpio sold in Delhi with the 1.99-litre engine, starting at a price of Rs 9.35 lakh for the base variant (S4). Also, the Scorpio will be sold with a concessional Value Added Tax (VAT) of 5 percent in Delhi, which will benefit customers by saving Rs 60,000 to 90,000, depending on the model.

The Intelli-Hybrid technology will help save 7 percent fuel compared to vehicles without the technology. The system switches off the vehicle if it is stationary for more than 3 seconds, and when the clutch is depressed, the engine starts. Also, the Intelli-Hybrid technology helps use energy while braking to charge the battery.

Speaking of the mHawk engine itself, the Scorpio sold in the Delhi NCR are powered by a 1.99-litre turbocharged diesel engine that makes 120bhp. The Scorpio features creature comforts such as static bending projector headlamps with eyebrow-styled LED parking lights, a 6-inch touchscreen infotainment system with GPS navigation, fully automatic temperature control, Blue-Grey interiors, and 17-inch alloy wheels.

The Scorpio Intelli-Hybrid is available in trims such as the S4, S4+, S4+ 4wd, S6+, S8, S10-2WD, and the S10-4WD variants.
