Mahindra KUV1OO Registers 37,000 Bookings Since Launch
Mahindra & Mahindra launched its KUV1OO model in the Indian market during January 2016. Now the Indian-based automobile manufacturer has recorded over 37,000 bookings since launch. The KUV1OO model is Mahindra's very first mini SUV model for the Indian market.
The KUV1OO mini SUV by Mahindra is available with both a petrol as well as a diesel engine option. Mahindra has equipped the KUV1OO with a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder petrol and diesel engine. Both engines have been completely developed from the ground up for the new model.
The KUV1OO by Mahindra is available in six exciting colour options. The paint schemes on offer are called Fiery Orange, Dazzling Silver, Designer Grey, Midnight Black, Pearl White, and Aquamarine. Mahindra's KUV1OO model is also the only mini SUV that offers a 3+3 seating option.
Currently, the Mahindra KUV1OO does not have any direct competitor. Maruti Suzuki will be introducing its Ignis mini SUV which will take on the KUV1OO model. Starting price for the KUV1OO model in the Indian market is Rs. 4.57 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi).
At this moment, the KUV1OO model is sold through regular Mahindra dealerships. The mini SUV is also purchasable via Flipkart and other online stores. Mahindra has targeted its KUV1OO to the youth of India that want a vehicle which is small and has features of an SUV.
