Mahindra Group Awarded For Digital Excellence At W3 Global Awards
The Mahindra Group websites won the prestigious Digital Excellence award at the 11th Annual W3 Global Awards
The $17.8 billion Mahindra Group which is a multinational federation of companies based out of Mumbai in India has won two prestigious awards at the 11th Annual Global Awards for Digital Excellence.
The group's website - mahindra.com - won the 'Best-in-Show' award and the prestigious Mahindra's 'Rise for Good' website - riseforgood.com - won the silver category.
The riseforgood.com website highlights the group's social initiatives which is aimed at driving positive change in the communities where Mahindra operates and in society at large. The awards were adjudged by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA).
Mr Karthik, Vice President-Corporate Brand, Mahindra & Mahindra said that the W3 global award recognise the very best digital work in the industry and winning this award is an affirmation of the design and execution excellence of their websites.
He further added that what makes this win more special is that Mahindra was one of the only two entries from India that made it to the 'Best-in-Show' shortlist.
As for the award itself, the W3 awards honour creative excellence in the web and recognise the creative and marketing professionals behind award-winning sites, videos and marketing programmes.
These awards are adjudged and sanctioned by AIVA, which is an independent body consisting of 600+ members from 15 countries worldwide and comprising top-notch professionals from acclaimed media, interactive, advertising and marketing firms. Based on a 10-point scale, over 3,000 entries were received this year by W3.
