Mahindra Racing Demonstrates Formula E & Moto3 Machines At BIC
Mahindra was present at the recently concluded 2016 Auto Expo with an array of products. On Display were the Formula E race car and their Moto3 race bike. Now the Indian manufacturer in an attempt to promote and showcase its commitment to motorsports, demonstrated both machines at the Buddh International Circuit.
The M2Electro and the MGP30 race machines were showcasing their performance and ability around the track. Formula E and Moto3 are among the highest level of motorsport competitions in the given categories. Mahindra Racing has successfully created its own identity in both competitions.
Formula E is a great platform for an electric vehicle manufacturer like Mahindra. All the technology and engineering developed for racing will eventually make it into Mahindra's street legal electric vehicles. The goal is to provide vehicles that are clean, clever, convenient, cost effective, and connected.
Currently, Mahindra does not participate in Moto3 as an official factory team. The Indian manufacturer on the other hand offers several teams with Mahindra bikes as a constructor. Mahindra believes that this is the best way to gather data and further improve their racing package.
