Luxury SUVs To Go Head-To-Head With Performance Cars
When companies like Lamborghini, Bentley, Aston Martin, and even Rolls-Royce come up with utility vehicles, there is no doubt, they will be the best sellers. Lamborghini and Aston Martin have already revealed their offerings in SUV segment.
Lamborghini has already showcased its concept SUV, the Urus, which is likely to hit production soon. On the other hand, Aston Martin too revealed its super hot SUV, the Aston Martin DBX. If these two SUVs will hit the market, then the sales of SUVs is said to go up by 50 percent.
Currently, luxury car manufacturer Porsche is reaping good fruits with its Cayenne and Macan SUVs. Even Rolls-Royce is geared up to launch a vehicle in this segment, calling it a 'sport activity vehicle'. Maserati too is headed in the same direction, and will be launching its first SUV this year.
With all the major luxury and performance car manufacturers working on SUVs, it will be interesting to see how the world market will absorb this trend. Land Rover is already established in this segment. Will these new breed of SUVs be competitive enough? Only time will tell.
