The Lexus Performance Driving School Is One School We Wouldn't Mind Going To!
Lexus wasn't always known for its performance, but Lexus is still planning to offer its own performance driving school.
Starting this year, Lexus will offer specialised training for aspiring drivers at the Lexus Performance Driving School. From the not-so-insane F Sport models to the insane F variants, will be used for training the drivers.
Lexus will offer three different programs at the school. There is Express Experience program to provide in-class training before you're allowed on an autocross course and then finish up with some on-track experience.
The Half-Day Experience will provide the same training, but it with some added slalom and braking training. The customers will also get hot laps with professionals drivers while they show you it's done their way.
Finally, the Full-Day Experience to provide a bit of advanced driver training, where you'll learn about racing lines and apex.
Lexus will provide the trainees with its entire F and F Sport range, which should be great fun for an average auto enthusiast.
The Express Experience is free of charge if you can find an open time slot. The full-day and half-day experience are not cheap and you will not be getting an open track time of your own either, but driving someone else's Lexus on a racetrack will be fun, at least, informative.
Lexus will offer its school at the following tracks on the following dates:
- Palm Beach International Raceway in Jupiter, Florida - September 30 to October 2
- Autobahn Country Club in Joliet, Illinois - October 7-9
- New Jersey Motorsports Park in Millville, New Jersey - October 27-29
- Autoclub Speedway in Fontana, California - February 10-12
