Lexus LC500/LC500h Will Get Bridgestone RFT Tyres
By this RFT technology, Bridgestone aims to contribute to the realisation of a safe and stable mobile society while reducing the overall environmental impact.
Japanese tyre manufacturer Bridgestone will supply its Potenza S001L and Turanza T005 Run-Flat Technology tyres to 2018 Lexus LC500/LC500h.
Both the vehicles from the luxury brand are scheduled to launch in 2017. Bridgestone has exclusively designed the Potenza and Turanza T005 RFT for the luxury coupes.
The company claims that the RFT tires can travel up to 80 kilometres at up to 80km/h to safety after the loss of pressure or a puncture. This is because the tyres can help to reduce the total weight of the car in such situations.
By this RFT technology, Bridgestone aims to contribute to the realisation of a safe and stable mobile society while reducing the overall environmental impact.
