Lamborghini's most humble offering is the all-new Huracan supercar. The Huracan is available in several international markets including India. Now the Italian-based supercar maker is developing a Superleggera version of the Huracan.
Currently, Lamborghini offers the regular Huracan and an optional rear-wheel drive Huracan. The Huracan Superleggera will be the third variant by Lamborghini. The Italian supercar maker is most likely to unveil the Huracan Superleggera at the upcoming Paris Motor Show.
The overall design of the Lamborghini Huracan Superleggera will not be hampered with. Few design elements will be borrowed from the Huracan GT3 race-spec model. Engineers will be looking to shed over 100 kilograms from its regular Huracan thus making it a Superleggera.
Superleggera literally means 'Super Light' and is a term used commonly in the automobile industry. Engineers and manufacturers take normal street cars and modify them with several lighter components thus improving the power to weight ratio of a vehicle.
Once launched the Lamborghini Huracan Superleggera will be introduced in India as well. There is a high possibility that the Huracan Superleggera will be introduced in limited numbers. Stay tuned for more updates from Lamborghini and its upcoming products.
