Lamborghini Is Bringing An All-New Model To India On May 5
Lamborghini India has confirmed that the Huracan Spyder will be launched on May 5, 2016. The Italian-based supercar manufacturer will also be inaugurating an all-new showroom in Mumbai, which will coincide with the launch.
The Huracan LP610-4 Spyder made its global debut in 2015 at the Frankfurt Motor Show. In India, the open roof model is expected to cost around Rs. 3.50 crore ex-showroom. The Huracan Spyder is Lamborghini's replacement for their ever popular Gallardo Spyder model.
Powering the Lamborghini Huracan Spyder is a 5.2-litre, V10, naturally aspirated engine. It produces a phenomenal 602bhp, along with 560Nm of peak torque output. The engine delivers power to all four wheels and is paired to a 7-speed dual clutch gearbox.
The soft-top roof is hydraulically operated and takes 17 seconds to be retracted or covered. Owners can operate the soft-top roof while driving as well within speeds up to 50 km/h. Lamborghini claims the Huracan Spyder's suspension is 40 percent stiffer than the Gallardo Spyder.
Currently, Lamborghini offers Indian customers the choice between the Huracan LP 580-2, Huracan LP 610-4, Aventador LP 700-4, and Aventador LP 700-4 Roadster. The inclusion of Huracan Spyder will mean that Lamborghini is offering the entire international Huracan range in India as well.
