Lamborghini Confirms A One-Off Model For Pebble Beach
Lamborghini will be bringing something special and unique to the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. A one-of-a-kind model from the Italian supercar maker will be presented. A heavily customised Lamborghini Centenario Roadster will be revealed.
Only 20 hardtop and roadster models each of Lamborghini Centenario were made. All 40 supercars were sold prior to its official reveal. It is estimated that each Lamborghini Centenario was sold for approximately $2.4 million.
Powering the Centenario is the standard engine that does the duty in the Aventador. A 5.6-litre V12 engine producing 770bhp and 690Nm of peak torque. The top speed is close to 350km/h and 0 to 100km/h is achieved in 2.8 seconds, while 0 to 200km/h comes up in 8.6 seconds.
The bodywork of the Lamborghini Centenario is made from carbon fibre. The overall design looks similar to the Aventador, with dramatic air intakes and other styling cues. A unique front hood has been provided, giving the supercar an illusion of a race machine.
