Manor Racing Award Jordan King Second F1 Practice Outing At Yas Marina
Jordan King has been awarded his second Formula One outing with Manor Racing. The British driver will take part in Formula One free practice one session at the 2016 Abu Dhabi GP.
Manor Racing will be providing Jordan King with a second outing during Formula One free practice. The British driver is one of the development drivers by Manor Racing. He has been with the team since 2015 and is currently competing in the GP2 Series.
Jordan King will be driving Esteban Ocon's race machine at Yas Marina circuit. He will participate during free practice one on Friday. Manor Racing has several new parts and components they would like King to test before they implement any of them.
Previously, Jordan King was awarded Pascal Wehrlein's race machine. Manor Racing provided King with his first Formula One experience at Austin GP. King participated in the first free practice, before handing off the race machine back to the full-time drivers.
So far, Manor Racing is undecided on their driver lineup for 2017 Formula One Championship. Pascal Wehrlein is likely to retain his seat, while Esteban Gutierrez and Jordan King are likely to fill in Esteban Ocon's vacancy. An announcement is expected at the 2016 Abu Dhabi GP.
