Nissan launched the GT-R in India on November 9, 2016. The vehicle was first showcased in India at the 2016 Auto Expo. After that, at the 2016 New York Auto Show, the company unveiled the 2017 model. The car John is buying is this updated version.
The Godzilla is powered by a 3.8-litre twin turbocharged V6 engine that churns out 562bhp of power and 637Nm of peak torque. Each engine is hand-built by five master craftsmen who are given the title Takumi (skilled craft worker).
The engine is mated to a six-speed dual clutch gearbox, which sends the power to all four wheels. The car is able to sprint from 0-100 km/h in under 3 seconds and can achieve a top speed of 307 km/h.
The braking power comes from the 390mm discs at the front with six-piston calipers and 380mm discs at the rear with four-piston calipers.
Earlier this year, John Abraham commented about his dissatisfaction with his German SUVs. Soon, Bandra will be hearing the roar of John's ‘Godzilla'.
