Jenson Button Unsure To Continue Or Leave Formula One
Jenson Button currently races in the Formula One Championship with McLaren-Honda. Unfortunately, the duo has not tasted success in recent times. Now, the British driver explains that he is unsure about his future in Formula One.
The contract between McLaren-Honda and Jenson Button comes to an end with the 2016 championship. So far, Button has not received an extension from McLaren-Honda. Stoffel Vandoorne, who replaced Fernando Alonso is most likely to replace Button at McLaren-Honda.
Williams Racing is keen to acquire the expertise of Jenson Button for next year. They plan to replace Felipe Massa and retain Valtteri Bottas. Jenson Button brings a ton of marketing and sponsor value and a giant sponsor could force McLaren-Honda to retain the Brit.
There are also rumours that Top Gear could get rid of Chris Evans. Fans want Jenson Button to take his place and host the iconic show. It is not sure whether or not Button is considering this avenue at this point.
Button has till date only won a single Driver's Championship in Formula One. His sole title was won with Brawn GP back in Formula One 2009 Championship. It will be a huge loss to the sport of Jenson Button decides to hang his boots at the end of this year.
