Jeep has released seven new concept vehicles to celebrate the 50th Annual Easter Jeep Safari, which is also the company's 75th birthday. One of the seven concepts released is the Jeep Trailcat concept, a Hellcat-powered Wrangler.
The concept is based on the Jeep Wrangler and it gets exterior modifications that make it look more aggressive. The windshield also gets a 2 inch chop to give it a sleek look.
The SUV will sport both Hellcat and Trailcat decals on the exterior. On the inside, it gets bucket seats borrowed from the Dodge Viper.
Lurking under the bonnet is a 6.2-litre HEMI V8 engine producing 707bhp at 6,000rpm and 881Nm torque at 4,000rpm. It is the same engine from the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat. The 6.2-litre V8 is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.
The Trailcat will be equipped with front and rear steel bumpers, front and rear Dana 60 axles, and Fox shocks.
The concept SUV is equipped with 17-inch beadlock wheels with massive 39.5-inch BF-Goodrich Krawler tyres on them.
