Finally A 6x6 Version Of Jeep Wrangler Lands In China
In the recent years there has been a lot of tuning firms which makes the 6x6 versions of various style bodies. Mercedes is the sole manufacturer to carry out this practise from the manufacturing factory. Now the iconic Jeep Wrangler has got the same treatment from a Chinese tuning company.
Chinese custom car manufacturer G.Patton is behind this marvelous machine. Being such an iconic off-road machine, Wrangler had to wait for too long for this 6x6 version. This six-wheel drive beast is named as Tomahawk, which is powered by 3.6-litre, V6 engine with supercharger spinning all six wheels.
To build this monster G.Patton had to cut the Wrangler behind the C-pillar and added a pickup bed and covered with a top. Although other technical information has not been revealed. From the exterior Tomahawk looks aggressive with furrowed brow over the headlights, roof rack and a winch on the front grille.
But the only downside is, if you want to own one of these you should pack your bags to China. There is still no word about whether this model will be sold in US. Wherever it may be sold, but the Wrangler gets even more character in this 6x6 look.
