Jaguar F-Pace Spotted In India — Is The Launch Around The Corner?
A black Jaguar F-Pace has been spotted in India and the location looks like a stockyard for Jaguar Land Rover (JLR). The Jaguar F-Pace in India could indicate two things: one, someone has imported the SUV or two, the launch is around the corner.
We would prefer to go with the fact that the launch is around the corner, because JLR sells the entire lineup in India and it makes no sense for a person to pay import duties for a vehicle that will eventually be sold in India. Also, the Jaguar India website has already listed the F-Pace as part of its products.
We expect the Jaguar F-Pace to be launched in India around this festive season.
The jaguar F-Pace, when launched in India, will be available in four variants: Pure, Prestige, R-Sport, and First Edition. The Pure and Prestige variants will be powered by JLR's new Ingenium 2.0-litre diesel engine that will produce 177bhp and 480Nm of torque.
The R-Sport and the First Edition variants will be powered by a bigger, 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine that will produce 296bhp and 700Nm of peak torque. The Jaguar F-Pace will get an all-wheel drive system, and an 8-speed automatic gearbox as standard.
The features list will include 20-inch wheels, LED lights, Meridian sound system, leather upholstery, panoramic sunroof, dual zone climate control, cruise control, and parking sensors to name a few.
