Jaguar F-Pace To Hit Indian Market In October
Jaguar is all set to launch the F-Pace in Indian market in the month of October, earlier this month Jaguar announced the launch of XF SUV in October, now the F-Pace is also set to launch in the same month.
It's speculated that both the models will be launched together, although F-Pace is likely to be launched in third week of October. The new F-Pace SUV is listed in Jaguar's official Indian website, and the model was showcased in 2016 Auto Expo. According to the website, India spec F-Pace will only be available in diesel variant initially.
The entry-level models Pure and Prestige will be powered by 2-litre, 4-cylinder engine which produces 180bhp and 430Nm of torque, which is coupled with an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The top of the line R-Sport gets a 3-litre, 6-cylinder diesel engine which churns out 300bhp and 700Nm of torque, and gets the same gearbox and all-wheel-drive.
A First Edition model is also listed in the official website but it is unlikely to be available at the time of launch. The F-Pace is expected to be launched at a starting price of around Rs 70 lakh. With the top manufacturers targeting the SUV segment in India, will this can cope with the competition? Well wait till October for the answer.
