Isuzu recently unveiled the D-MAX V-Cross pickup at the Indian Auto Expo that took place in Delhi earlier this year. The pickup received great response from enthusiasts, especially since the vehicle is a four-wheel drive.
Now, to promote the D-MAX V-Cross even more, Isuzu is getting ready to showcase the pickup at the 2016 India 4X4 Week that will take place in Goa. Isuzu will also be offering drives along a specially made off-roading course to showcase the vehicle's capabilities.
The 4X4 Week will be held from July 22 to 24, 2016. This is a great platform to promote off-roaders since this event will focus exclusively on vehicles with four-wheel drive abilities. Carmakers who make off-roaders and manufacturers who make off-road equipment will also be present at the event.
The event will be organised by Cougar Motorsport and will also mark the beginning of the Force Gurkha Rainforest Challenge in India. Off-road enthusiasts from all over India are expected to come for the event, which is perfect ground for the Japanese carmaker to showcase the D-MAX V-Cross' abilities.
Speaking about the D-MAX V-Cross, the pickup is powered by a 2.5-litre four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine that produces 134bhp and 320Nm of torque. The engine comes paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox and features a shift-on-fly four-wheel drive system.
