Infiniti global Senior Manager of product strategy, Gerardo Carmona said that company is focusing on developing the coupe version of the Q60. Infiniti wants to make the Q60 superior to its previous two generations, so the company does not want to divert itself on making variants of the car.
The Q60 is powered by all-new 3-litre twin-turbocharged V6 engine. Which will come with two power bands - 300bhp and 400bhp. Customers in the US can choose between the two variants, whereas in Europe it is only available in 400bhp.
The previous generations of the Q60 were not much different from each other. But now Infiniti wants to make dramatic changes to the car. So all the effort was put on just one version of the car, instead of thinking of different variants.
