Hyundai Tucson Launched in India; Prices Start At Rs. 18.99 Lakh
Hyundai's new Tucson comes with two new engines, a brand new interior and a whole host of safety features.
South Korean carmaker Hyundai has launched the all-new Tucson SUV in India. Prices for the new Hyundai Tucson start at Rs. 18.99 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi).

The all-new Tucson is available with two 2.0-litre engines - one petrol and one diesel.
The 2.0-litre petrol engine produces 153bhp @ 6,200rpm and 192Nm of torque @ 4,000rpm. The engine returns a mileage of 13.03km/l with the six-speed manual gearbox and 12.95km/l with the 6-speed automatic gearbox.
The 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine produces 182bhp @ 4,000rpm and 400Nm of torque @ 1,750-2,750rpm. The diesel engine returns a mileage of 18.42km/l with the manual gearbox and 16.38km/l when paired to the automatic gearbox.
The 2016 Tucson is 1,850 mm wide, and 4,475 mm long while the height of the SUV is 1,660 mm including roof rails; which come as standard across all variants.
Design wise, the new Tucson SUV features Hyundai's trademark hexagonal grille with chromed slats. The grille is flanked by angular headlamps with LED daytime running lamps. The two part fog lights blend in very nicely with the sculpted bumper.
The sides of the SUV are dominated by the character line that runs from the front bumpers to the wraparound tail lamps at the rear.
Inside, the new Tucson gets an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment display that supports Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. The infotainment system features satellite-based navigation, voice recognition.
The audio system offered standard across all variants of the Tucson, includes 4 speakers and 2 tweeters.
The seats of the new Tucson are done up in leather and the driver's seat features 10-way power assistance.
The new Tucson comes with a whole host of safety features including six airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking cameras, Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Hill-start Assist Control (HAC), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Downhill Brake Control (DBC), and brake assist.
The all-new Hyundai Tucson SUV is available in four colours - White, Black, Red, Silver.
