With electric cars getting a boost with Tesla announcing the Model 3 production, car manufacturers around the globe are embracing the future in commuting.
The most questionable answer is the result of how much will these electric cars run in terms of kms, well, Tesla's Model 3 runs for approximately 350kms, now, Hyundai is planning to go further with a claim of 402 kms.
Hyundai has already confirmed a new EV (Electric Vehicle) to be launched in 2018 which runs for 322kms. Hyundai Ioniq will be launched in the US later this year will run 177kms range.
Hyundai will launch the Ioniq in three models, which includes a plug-in hybrid, standard hybrid, and the EV.
Tesla has had the best of rest when it comes to awareness of green cars, the Model 3 which was launched with a price tag of $35,000 and already been booked by 130,000 aspirants for the green car and deliveries are expected to start in 2017.
The Tesla Model 3 is expected to hit 100 kmph in under 6 seconds and has the travel range of 346kms on just a single charge. Hyundai will up the ante with the plan of EV which can travel even further, time will tell if other major automobile manufacturers will jump the EV wagon to help the trend of a green revolution in cars.
Hyundai has already planned a slew of launches of green cars which includes plug-ins, hybrids, and hydrogen fuel-cell cars for 2020, however, not until now that they have confirmed the EV plans.
