Hyundai Happy Move Save Our Heritage Initiative Launched

Hyundai Motors has launched its Happy Move Save Our Heritage Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. The CSR initiative was introduced on January 12, 2016, in Delhi. For the campaign, Hyundai is partnering with the Archaeological Survey of India.

100 Happy Move Global Youth Volunteers will be participating in the Save Our Heritage campaign. 20 Indians and 80 Korean youth volunteers will take part in the initiative. The volunteers will also create awareness about the Indian Heritage Monuments.

Save Our Heritage is based on four main pillars from Hyundai Motors. Safe Move, Happy Move, Green Move, and Easy Move are the essential pillars for the initiative. The awareness drive will be conducted by youth volunteers up to January 21, 2016, in India.

Heritage sites of Firozshah Kotla, Old Fort, Qutub Minar, and Safdarjung Tomb are included in the Save Our Heritage initiative. The volunteers will maintain the gardens, upkeep amenities, and create awareness among visitors. Hyundai Motors has organised several similar initiatives in India before as well.

Youth volunteers will also take part in school programmes to create awareness. The volunteers will undertake cleaning school premises, school wall designing, design competitions, and maintenance of gardens. Select schools will be visited like Sarvodaya schools at Chanakya Puri, Daryaganj, Mehrauli, and INA colony.
