Hyundai Recalls The Eon Over A Faulty Clutch
Hyundai India has recalled over 7,000 units of its entry-level hatchback, the Eon in India, over an issue with the car's clutch.
Hyundai India has recalled 7, 657 units of the Eon, owing to an issue with its clutch cable, that is fouling with the hatchback's battery cable.
The recalled cars include the ones manufactured between January 1, 2015 - January 31, 2015. The issue will be fixed at no extra costs for customers.
Hyundai will get in touch with customers who own affected Eons in India in a phased manner. The cars will be inspected and if the clutch cable and battery cable are found faulty, they will be replaced.
In a stement from Hyndai, the carmaker said, Hyundai motor India continues to ensure the quality of products offering to its customers and encourage owners of all affected Eon cars to take them to authorized Hyundai Dealers."
