Hyundai Elantra Launched In Mumbai, Prices Start At Rs. 13.61 Lakh
South Korean carmaker Hyundai has launched the sixth-generation Elantra sedan in India's financial capital, Mumbai.
The Hyundai Elantra has been launched at an introductory price of 13.61 lakh ex-showroom (Mumbai) for the petrol variants and Rs. 15.50 lakh ex-showroom (Mumbai) for the diesel variants.

Powering the new Elantra is an all new 2.0-litre petrol engine which features an all aluminium block and a plastic intake manifold. The new petrol engine produces 150bhp and 190Nm of torque. The petrol engine returns a mileage of 14.59km/l when paired with the 6-speed manual gearbox, and 14.62km/l when paired to the 6-speed automatic gearbox.
Also present is a 1.6-litre diesel engine, that also powers the Creta Compact SUV and the Verna. The diesel engine produces 126bhp and 265Nm of torque. The diesel Elantra returns a mileage of 22.54km/l with the manual gearbox and 18.54km/l with the automatic gearbox.
Both the petrol and diesel variants of the car are available with two driving modes: Eco and Sport.
Design wise, the new Elantra features a more refined design compared to the previous-generation car's 'Fuidic Design'. Uo front, the new Elantra features sharp and sleek headlamps with LED Daytime Running Lamps, that flank a trapezoidal, five-slat grille. Small, round fog lamps are also present in their own boomerang shaped enclosures on either side of the bumper.
At the rear, the Elantra features swept back tail lamps which feature graphics that seemingly split them into three parts. The new Elantra sits on 16-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, the dashboard of the Elantra is tilted slightly towards the driver. The centre console features an 8-inch HD display with support for both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay along with Bluetooth connectivity. The ventilated front seats come with 10-way power adjustability.
The Elantra is available in five different colour options at launch: Polar White, Marina Blue, Sleek Silver, Red Passion, and Phantom Black.
