Hyundai has added the automatic gearbox variant to the Creta in S+, which is a variant lower than the previously available variant with AT. This will be the diesel model and has priced the variant of the compact SUV at Rs. 13.56 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi).
Previously, Hyundai had offered the AT at the SX+, which is the top-of-the-line variant. Now, customers can get an automatic in the mid-variant of the diesel Creta.
Currently, the variant is available in all the metros, priced at Rs. 13.99 ex-showroom (Kolkata), Rs. 14.27 lakh ex-showroom (Mumbai), Rs. 13.78 lakh ex-showroom (Chennai) and Rs. 13.76 lakh ex-showroom (Bangalore).
This variant of the AT for the Creta will command a waiting period of two months, bookings are open for the same.
As for the power of the variant, doing the duty will be the 1.6-litre CRDi four-cylinder unit which develops 126bhp of power and 256Nm of peak torque, and will be mated to a 6-speed AT.
This variant will miss out on features like the cruise control, leather seats, touch screen infotainment system, and voice controlled navigation package.
On the safety aspect, the S+ variant will come with dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors with camera, and more.
Hyundai Creta competes with the likes of Renault Duster 110PS AMT variant which is priced at Rs. 13.13 ex-showroom (Delhi).
