The Creta by Hyundai Motors has fascinated Indian buyers within the compact SUV segment. Hyundai launched the Creta in India prior to introducing the model in any other country. Now within a matter of eight months, Creta has recorded over one lakh bookings.
Since the launch of Hyundai Creta in India, the compact SUV is setting new records. At this moment, Hyundai Motors India has received an overwhelming five lakh inquiries, of which one lakh have been converted to bookings. Only 56,000 Indians currently have received their very own Creta.
Creta is currently available with three engine options for the Indian market. Two diesel and a single petrol engine by Hyundai are on offer. A 1.6-litre petrol Gamma Dual VTVT, followed by an optional 1.4-litre U2 CRDi and a 1.6-litre U2 CRDi diesel engine offering. On offer is also an option between manual and automatic transmissions.
Hyundai Motors also offers its Creta with best-in-class warranty. An unlimited kilometres warranty for three years will be offered on the Creta. The compact SUV is designed with a strong 'Hive Structure' for better structural stability as well as sturdiness.
The Korean-based automobile manufacturer has witnessed an overwhelming response in India as well as in international markets. Production is being ramped up in an attempt to reduce waiting period. Total production will now be 13,000 units, of which only 3,000 are allocated for global markets.
