Japanese carmaker Honda has kicked off pre bookings for its upcoming BR-V SUV as it gets ready to enter the red-hot compact SUV market.
According to ET Auto, Honda dealerships are accepting pre-bookings for the upcoming BR-V as the carmaker gets ready to launch the SUV on May 5.
The Honda BR-V is expected to use the 1.5-litre diesel and petrol engines found on the Honda Mobilio and also sits on same platform that underpins the MPV. Like the Mobilio that it is based on, the BR-V will be a seven seater.
The Honda BR-V is expected to be priced between Rs. 8 to 13 lakhs at its launch and it will go up against the Renault Duster and the Hyundai Creta.
