Honda Cars India Organizes #HangoutWithHonda Experience In Bangalore
Honda Cars India organized a Hangout With Honda Experience in Bangalore. The event brought together bloggers and journalists to test the new Honda Connect App.
The Honda Connect App allows Honda's customers to keep a track of their car at all times as well as detailed information about their vehicles including service booking and alerts, fuel logs and helps them locate their cars if they've forgotten where they've parked it. Users can also share their current location with their family and friends in real time with the app.
Othe features of the app include impact alert, through which users will get a call from Honda's 121 call centre in case of an accident who arrange for speedy roadside assistance for the stranded customer. The app also monitors the vehicle's health and gives users notifications if there is anything wrong with the battery or the engine. Honda did a live demonstration of this feature at the event.
The Honda Connect App was launched on December 15, 2015 and was developed by Minda i-Connect. The app is available for free for anyone to download on the Google Play store as well as Apple's App Store.
To use the app, owners will have to install the "Connected Device" which is provided by Minda i Connect Pvt Ltd & marketed by Honda Access India Pvt Ltd and is currently available only for the Honda Jazz, City and CR-V. The "Connected Device" is currently available for the introductory price of Rs. 2,999 for the initial 20,000 units at authorized Honda Dealerships.
