Honda Cars India launched the Jazz premium hatchback in the country during July 2015. The current model is a third generation iteration of the Jazz model. Now, the Japanese-based automobile manufacturer is celebrating the Jazz's first anniversary in the country.
Several activities and benefits will be organised for Honda customers and potential buyers as well. Honda will keep its showroom doors open for customers till 10:00 pm from July 8th to 10th. Offers will be provided on new purchase of Honda vehicles during the anniversary celebration.
During the period from July 2015 to June 2016, Honda Cars India registered selling 47,335 Jazz units. The premium hatchback has accounted for 26 percent of sales out of Honda's overall sales. Honda confirms that its third generation Jazz is a volume driver in terms of sales.
Currently, Honda Jazz is powered by an optional 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol and a 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engine. The diesel engine is mated only to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The petrol powered Jazz is equipped to a 5-speed manual and an optional CVT gearbox.
Base variant of Honda Jazz petrol model costs Rs. 5.60 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi). The diesel Jazz base variant attracts a price of Rs. 6.90 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi). Jazz with CVT is available in two options and base model costs Rs. 7.34 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi).
