Honda City Based Hatchback Revealed
Japanese automotive giant Honda is working on an all-new hatchback that is based on the current generation of the City sedan on sale in India,
The new hatchback called the Gienia was leaked to the world after a few pictures of the hatch leaked on the interweb in China.
The new hatchback despite being based on the City is a mix of quite a few design elements from various cars and concepts in the Honda range.
The grille of the car is inspired by the one found on the Project B Concept from 2014 while it takes its front lights from the current City.
The rear of the car is pure Civic with its Boomerang style taillamps that are connected through a strip along and a small spoiler which rests on the rear windscreen.
The Gienia is meant for the Chinese market and it is still not clear whether or not this car will make its way into India.
