Honda BR-V Showcased At The Malaysia Autoshow 2016
Honda has showcased the BR-V crossover SUV at the Malaysia Autoshow 2016.
Honda has showcased its latest crossover SUV, the BR-V at the Malaysia Autoshow 2016. It will join the crossover SUV league of Honda HR-V and CR-V in Malaysia.
The BR-V will be available in both five-seater and seven-seater variant. Basically, the Honda BR-V is a crossover variant of the Honda Mobilio.
The Honda BR-V measures 4,453 mm in length, 1,735 mm in width and 1,666 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 2,662 mm and ground clearance of 201mm.
The new Honda BR-V offers best in class boot space of 223 litres and when the third-row seats are folded the storage space increases to 539 litres.
The new crossover SUV is equipped with features such as - Projector headlamps, 16-inch alloy wheels, LED light guides, 6.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, reverse camera and sensors.
The important safety features of the BR-V includes dual-front airbags, ABS with EBD, Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) and Hill Start Assist (HSA).
The Honda BR-V draws power from 1.5-litre i-VTEC four-cylinder petrol engine which churns out 119bhp of power and 145Nm of torque.
The engine is coupled to a six-speed manual gearbox or continuously variable transmission. The BR-V will be slotted below the HR-V and the crossover SUV's price starts from RM 1,02,200 (approximately 15.60 lakh).
